anthony rapp

i know a lot of people know that i am kind of obsessed with anthony rapp, but i don't think anyone fully understands why or how deep my love for him truly goes.

when i first saw the rent movie back in 2005, i immedietly developed a crush on him when he was riding his bike and singing the first lines in the song "rent" at the beginning of the movie. i have a thing for guys who wear glasses, so no surprise there. when i got home, i looked him up on the internet and found out he was gay. i was heartbroken. lol. but since then i've absolutely LOVED him. i purchased his book "Without You" when it came out back in 2006 and fell in love with him even more. throughout the book, he told the story of his mom's battle with cancer and the story of his journey with Rent. While reading the book, I wished I could travel through time and see him perform the role of Mark on Broadway, seeing as Anthony and Mark have a lot in common and Anthony, himself, along with Jonathan Larson, created that character. I identify with Mark the most out of all of the characters. I strongly identify with this character. I think I have a crush on the character, Mark, more than any of the actors who play him. Once when I saw the show in Stockton last year, the guy playing Mark smiled at me during "Seasons of Love" because he could tell I was singing along. I just about died in that moment. I had no idea who the actor was, but he was dressed up as Mark Cohen and playing that character, and that's all that mattered. In that moment, he was the character that I have come to love SO much. It was such an amazing moment. <3

But anyway. I always wished I could travel back in time to see Anthony play Mark on Broadway. Because to me, Anthony Rapp IS Mark Cohen. I never thought he would ever play that role again. EVER. & even if he did, what were the chances of me actually getting to see him in it? That dream came true for me in March and it's about to come true again. Something that I seriously thought was IMPOSSIBLE turned out to be possible... and my dream came true. It's a pretty unbelievable feeling. I cannot wait until Wednesday. <3

I do not really wanna type up the entire thing right now, so I'll just say this.

It was the best weekend of my life. Kate & Amy are amazing (as is Angel) and I totally went on Kate's tour bus and hung out with her for a little while.

Yeah, you're jealous and you hate me. I don't really care, cause it was TOTALLY WORTH IT. =)

So everything is worked out for my operation unbelievable tomorrow. Thank goodness. I was crying earlier because I didn't think it was going to happen. But it is. It's happening. Hallelujah.

I have a massive headache, though, because I'm kinda nervous and worried about fitting everything in our 15 minute timeslot.

I gotta do the interview, get a new welcome message, have her sign a few things to give away on the site and take some photos. That's my plan, anyway.

If I don't have time to give her the card during the interview, I'll give it to her at the meet & greet.

IM SO EXCITED OMG.

Praying that he writes me tomorrow like he said he would, because my operation unbelievable is in 2 days. Yes. 2 DAYS, people. I'm going insane. Insane, yo. & I need the details on this operation stat.

I need to make a layout for Angel's site, but I am feeling so un-inspiredddd. ugh. I make crappy layouts when I have no inspiration and I don't want it to be crappy. & Ash and I really wanna be able to show her the amazing layout when we see her on Saturday.

aghhhhh.

I'm stressed.

Good news is, someone my dad knows from work wants me to do a website for them and they're going to pay me. YES, MONEY. I need to start saving for my trip to DISNEY WORLD next year.
